Who will be my photographer?

Richard is the primary photographer. Shiyana is the secondary photographer. We do not use any assistants or interns.

How much deposit do you require?

We require a minimum deposit of $350 to hold the date.

If we want some images in black and white or sepia or with special effects such as a vintage look, can you do this?many pictures do you take?If we want a few images in black and white, sepia or with special effects such as vintage os soft focus, can you do this?

Yes, we provide a few images in black and white and/or sepia at no additional charge. We can also include a few images with a vintage look upon request .

How soon can we see the photos?

We usually deliver or mail the disc with the images within four to six weeks of the wedding. Sometimes we can get it to you sooner - it all depends on how busy we are. If you would like to see a few photos soon, we can provide a teaser slide show of the photos on our website. We keep a back up copy of the images for at least one month after the event. Album preparation and production takes about 8 to 12 weeks.

Can we order prints from you?

Yes, we provide a professional print ordering system for three months.

How do I make prints from the discs you provide?

We recommend making prints at a professional photo lab that regularly makes prints of wedding photos. Prints may also be made at discount photo labs, but these may not be of good quality. We recomend ordering canvas prints or larger size prints from us or a professional photo lab to ensure high quality.

Can you recommend local wedding professionals?

Yes, we can provide a list of reputable local wedding vendors to our clients.

What is your preferred style of photography?

Based on client's wishes, we provide a mix of styles including documentary or photojournalism, editorial, and posed photographs. We find beauty in simple, fresh photographs that tell a story, capture the emotion of the moment or the personality of the subject(s).

How far in advance should I reserve a photographer?

If you are planning on holding your wedding or portrait session during summer, we recommend retaining a photographer six months to one year in advance. Summer is wedding season in Hawaii! Weekends also book up fast.

Do you offer a free consultation?

Yes. We would love to meet with you to answer any questions and to learn more about your wedding plans. We encourage you to bring wedding photographs that you like so that we can understand your style preference.
