Oahu Wedding Photo clients Mitchell and Morgan tied the knot at Bellows Beach days before Mitchell was deployed. It was a rainy day but the rain let up in time for the wedding ceremony.
Matt and Marilyce tied the knot at Leahi Beach Park in Diamond Head. The reception was at the Hawaii State Art Museum (blog post to follow). Their fabulous wedding was coordinated by Susan O’Donnell of Aloha Wedding Planners. Best wishes to Matt and Marilyce!

Below are a few photos of the flower lei made by Hawaii’s finest lei makers at this year’s May Day celebration at Kapiolani Park. The last photo is of a feather lei worn by a beautiful old kama’aina lady at the lei day celebration. She was wearing a traditional old style mu’u mu’u with puff sleeves to to match her feather lei. She told us she had just arrived at Kapiolani Park after having tea the Royal Hawaiian Hotel. To me, this woman captures the essence of a bygone era in Hawaii.
